6 Weekly 4-Day Session: June 7 thru July 15
Kids ages 6-11 — Mon-Thu, 9am to 1pm
Teens ages 12 & up — Mon-Thu, 1:30 to 5:30pm
*Limited camp session enrollment due to safety protocols.

Weekly rates per student:
Member parent $110
Non-member parent $130
Scholarships are available.

Summer Art Camp Sessions

Week 1: Mon-Thu, June 7-10
Teens ages 12 & up — 1:30 to 5:30pm
Teens Gone Loose with Watercolor
Instructor: Sheri Zanosky

Students will learn the art of watercolor painting by creating whimsical watercolor wildlife. Monday, Beachy Critters, Tuesday Jungle cats, Wednesday wild patterned animals and Thursday Teens choice! Get Loose.. not your grandmas watercolor class!

Week 2: Mon-Thu, June 14-17
Kids ages 6-11 — 9am to 1pm
Trash to Treasures
Instructor: Heather Pastor

Using a variety of media, we’ll give new creative life to items that may have ordinarily ended up in your recycle bin. Make your own pocket pal and a kaleidoscope incorporating pieces you would usually put out at the curb.

Teens ages 12 & up — 1:30 to 5:30pm
PEACE Posters
Instructor: Shy Morris

Students will create a painting using a recycled campaign sign. They can use a great quote of their own or chose one provided by our instructor.  Artists will learn how to sketch to organize ideas, college and seal their work so it can be displayed outside in their front yard.

Week 3: Mon-Thu, June 21-24
Teens ages 12 & up — 1:30 to 5:30pm
Recycle, Repurpose, Recreate
Instructor: Heather Pastor

Repurposing everyday items we’ll learn the art of mark-making and practice mixed media techniques in the pages of handmade journals. Learn basic book binding techniques & fill the pages with small sketches, paintings and printed word to express your creativity!

Week 4: Mon-Thu, June 28- July 1
Kids ages 6-11 — 9am to 1pm
Pantomime 
Instructor: Mike Philips

In this week class your child will learn basic stage pantomime skills. Students will be engaged in techniques to develop non-verbal communication. Your child will collaborate with other students by writing, rehearsing and producing an original pantomime play. Little to no acting experience is required.

Teens ages 12 & up — 1:30 to 5:30pm
Stage Movement
Instructor: Mike Philips

In this week class your child will be learning basic stage movement and combat skills. Students will be engaged in techniques to develop stage confident and stage presence. Your child will collaborate with other students by writing, rehearsing and producing an action stage play. Little to no acting experiences is required.

Week 5: Mon-Thu, July 5-8
Kids ages 6-11 — 9am to 1pm
Coastal Clay Creations
Instructor: Kim Sander at Jane’s Art Center

Students will develop fundamental ceramic skills and learn the basics of hand-building with clay. They will explore pinch. slab and coil methods of construction and create unique sculptural projects.

Day 1- Create a pinch pot Sea Creature, octopus, whale or shark

Day 2-  Sculpt a slab unique Fish of your choice

Day 3- Create a Coral Reef 

Day 4- Final surface decoration and glazing

Week 6: Mon-Thu, July 12-15
Kids ages 6-11 — 9am to 1pm
All Creatures Great and Small
Instructor: Kim Sander at Jane’s Art Center

They will explore pinch, coil and slab methods of construction and create unique sculptural projects.
