Join us for a year full of fun as New Smyrna Beach celebrates its 250th anniversary. The milestone will be marked by multiple events throughout 2018, so no matter when you are visiting, you’ll be able to join in on the festivities. The New Smyrna Beach Regional Library will have exhibits throughout the year including a local genealogy collection, a focus on local artists, histories of the New Smyrna colony and Bethune Beach, a book club highlighting local artists, and a food club featuring local cuisine. The New Smyrna Museum of History will be hosting history walking tours. The official 250th Anniversary Celebration will take place on June 16, at the Museum of History with individual events scheduled throughout the day.
