Step out of the rain and back in time with a visit to one of our area museums. Both the New Smyrna Museum of History and the Mary S. Harrell Black Heritage Museum are filled with artifacts, local memorabilia, photography, and more. Learn important and interesting details about the lives of New Smyrna Beach residents throughout history. Both museums are free.
If the weather’s left you with a few hours to spare, then head over to New Smyrna Lanes. The family-owned bowling alley offers 16 lanes with state-of-the-art technology.
Rain in the forecast? Sign up in advance for a class at a local arts-and-crafts workshop like Hammer & Stain, the Bob Ross Art Workshop, or Jane’s Art Center. You’ll be so busy unleashing your creativity that you’ll forget about the rain.
