Surfing our world class waves is sure to get your adrenaline pumping, but a day spent relaxing on our pristine white sand beaches also can’t be beat. Sunbathe, swim and stroll along our beautiful shores. For a truly unique experience, you can also rent bikes or golf carts and ride on our sandy beaches. Golf cart and bicycle rentals are available at many locations at New Smyrna Beach, including Salty Rentals NSB, which has golf carts, bicycles and, for dry trails and in-town biking fun, electric bikes.
Paddle Through Natural Beauty
If you’re looking for even more fun on our waterways, try renting a kayak or paddleboard and exploring the many blueway trails that dot New Smyrna Beach. Paddleboard New Smyrna Beach has paddleboards and kayaks available to rent and offers a select number of guided paddleboard tours and lessons. The dolphin tour takes participants on guided explorations of the Indian River in search of marine life that call the area home. Kayaks and paddleboards can also be rented from a select number of dining establishments, such as JB’s Fish Camp.
Discover Undersea Life at the Marine Discovery Center
For fun and educational adventure, be sure to check out the programs and tours available at the Marine Discovery Center. The Center features live aquariums, programs designed to teach the public about the importance of preserving aquatic species, and eco-tours of the diverse waterways found at New Smyrna Beach.
Stretch Your Legs at Smyrna Dunes Park
One of our many favorite parks and natural spaces to visit here at New Smyrna Beach is Smyrna Dunes Park. This 73-acre natural space is dog friendly, and consists of sand dunes, walking trails, beaches, marshes and more. It’s a great place to experience virtually undisturbed natural beauty. Pack a picnic and make a day of your adventure here! There is a $10 fee per car to gain park access.
