Are you a lover of craft beer? Then this may be the event for you. New Smyrna Beach hosts an event on the first Saturday of every month from 1-7pm for all thirsty beer drinkers. It’s the Canal Street Craft Beer Walk. Simply purchase a ticket for $20, and you’ll receive a glass, 12 beer sample tickets and a map of all locations on Canal Street that participate in the event. At each site, you’ll find about 2-3 beers that you can choose from to sample. Not only do you get to experience all of the local craft beers, but you get an inside look into downtown New Smyrna and everything it has to offer. Two participating locations where you can buy tickets include the Half Wall NSB, an upscale craft beer house, and The New Smyrna Beach Brewing Company, an intimate microbrewery and taproom. New Smyrna also offers a similar walk with wine tastings instead of beer each month, if beer isn’t your go-to beverage. So pick your poison, or walk them both!
