Where The Locals Go

Some say that to experience Old Florida, all you have to do is visit the 80-year old Chicago red brick building of the Corkscrew Bar and Grille in New Smyrna Beach. This favorite local restaurant serves American classic comfort food in a warm and casual atmosphere, all curated by the owners of over 30 years, Bob and Sharon Wiley. Every Monday night, they offer live music by Andrew Elliot from Marley's Collie, and on Tuesdays you can find Joe Calabrese entertaining the crowd. Their menu will make you feel right at home with dishes like Bob’s Smokin’ Chili, or the CorkScrew Burger – a coffee and brown sugar rubbed steak on brioche bun with candied pork belly, grilled pineapple and smoked gouda. And for drinks, their classic bar is known especially for their diverse Bloody Mary menu. On the second Saturday of each month, you can find their bar packed as people gather on Canal Street for the East Coast Cruisers Car Show from 4-8pm, taking advantage of Cockscrew’s $5 margaritas. So sit back and hang out where the locals do.
