Lake Monroe Park

Lake Monroe Park is one of Volusia County's oldest and most popular parks. The park reopened to the public in July 2004 after a $1.2 million renovation and improvement project. The project included new restrooms, renovations to the entrance road, floating docks, picnic pavilions, improved parking and a trailhead for the Lake Monroe-Gemini Springs-DeBary Hall trail. We invite you to visit this beautiful park on Lake Monroe. Take advantage of free entrance to the park and a $2 fee to launch your boat.

You can also enjoy one of the beautiful camp sites. Per Ch.82 of the Volusia County Code, the length of stay for authorized camping shall be no greater than seven (7) consecutive days or (30) total days per calendar year. Camping fee is $15/night and that includes power (taxes not included). There is a $5 dumping fee. Amenities include boardwalks, boat ramps, camping, fishing docks, pavilion, picnic areas, nature trails, playground, restrooms, and a volleyball court. To reserve recreational facilities, please call 386-736-5953 Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Lake Monroe Park is open daily: Sunrise to sunset. Admission is free.
