New Smyrna Beach’s Historic District is the cultural center of the town. The area offers shopping, dining, entertainment and art galleries. It also plays host to a constant variety of special events like antique car shows, the traditional Christmas parade, art shows, a farmer's market every Saturday morning, wine walks, seafood festivals, and many more.

If you want to head to the beach, you don’t need to worry about parking, as new Smyrna Beach allows cars directly on the beach itself. You can easily drive from your apartment in charming Downtown New Smyrna Beach over one of the two bridges to the beach and then actually drive and park your car right on the beach! For dog lovers, there is also a dog-friendly beach at the north end of the beach called Smyrna Dunes Park, which boasts 73 acres of sandy beaches and is only 3 miles from your apartment. Parking is available in the park itself for access to the beach with your dog.

This apartment is also only two blocks from the Indian River which features the City marina, fishing, and Riverside Park. Riverside Park features walking paths, a playground, fishing pier and boardwalk, gazebo, and restrooms.
